The Final Chapter

It's almost sad to think about it. I had relished waiting for the books to be published, then for the movies to be released. My girls practically spent their early reading years with Harry. We read the first book together, aloud. They grew up with him! Now the final book is set to be released, and I almost don't want to see it come out because it will be the end. Harry is all grown up. I suppose it's time to let him go.

I think he has already started to fly from the nest. Check this out about Daniel Radcliffe, not the Harry you know.

hi jmom! i have exactly the same feeling... its like an era is ending with the arrival of the last chapter. but, all things come to an end. i just hope it ends with a big bang :)

as for daniel...whoa! actually i heard about that news before and i guess going "sexy" is the best way for actors to break out of their "kiddie" mold. alyssa milano, drew barrymore, and britney spears (to name a few) did that, too, as did some local artistas like katya santos and maui taylor. o diba, showbiz? hehe!

though i think daniel's 6-pack is still baby-sized ha! i wonder how he would look like 5 years from now? :D

I saw those pictures. I didn't want to look at them for too long. After all he's Harry Potter and he's 17.

It really is sad that it has come to the last book and what is also sad are the images of Harry Potter without his search on that are making there way around the net.

how strange to see daniel radcliffe as a *sexy young man* instead of a loveable little boy. as they say, all good things must come to an end. :-(

i feel both sad and excited about the last book in the harry potter series. btw, "harry potter and the deathly hallows" is currently the #1 book in amazon...yes, even before it's out, it's already out-sold all other books on the market. can't wait for july 21! :-)

I guess good things must come to an end some time as they say. And what better way is to be at the top! I read the first harry potter but didn't manage to finish it somehow. But I do follow the movies.

I guess Radcliff doesn't want to get stuck being Harry.

Ako din, so sad. That's one of the ways my little brother and I bonded. I bought him pretty much all his Harry Potter books and got him started on reading it. We went to the book launch of book 4 in Barnes and Noble, at midnight and got to be one of the first to get a hold of copies. He says its one of his favorite memories of us.

Tapos ngayon...haay nakakalungkot.

Gosh, I guess we're among millions who are sad to let harry grow up. It is like the end of an era, isn't it? But I guess it is understandable that Daniel will want to start breaking away from the mold.

Tin, what a touching story about you and your brother! That is so wonderful that you guys have that to look back on. As much as the daily reading was sometimes a chore for a tired mommy like me, I have to admit that reading the whole first book aloud was very satisfying.
