The Police on Tour

I saw an interview of Sting this past weekend on the Sunday Morning show; as an artist, he is just amazing. He is always evolving. He is releasing an new CD, Songs from the Labyrinth, whose melodies is based on a 16th century lutenist. Totally different from the songs that launched him to rock n roll super stardom as on one of The Police.

Who is The Police, you dare say?!!!! That's ok, you're not the only one. I'm finding out more and more that not too many people know who The Police were but if you mention one of their songs, their immediate response is, I know that song! I grew up dancing to that! If you are like 'those people', watch the short clip below and you'll see what I mean.

Am I right, or what? You know those songs don't you? I bet you have memories associated with those songs. So you're in luck if you want an all in one Police CD that has all your favorites. They have just released a compilation CD which comes with a vintage poster of The Police included. The Police CD was released on June 6, 2007 to coincide with their concert tour which commenced on May 28 in Vancouver.

Still not convinced? Check out the list of songs on the CD and tell me you've never heard of them.
