Malling with the Girls

We had such fine weather over the weekend. The sun was out and it warmed up nicely. So we took advantage and spent as much time outside. However, it seems like everytime we go outside, we always end up going inside a mall :(

It was still fun though. The girls went and spent their gift cards and got clothes in the styles that they wanted. There were also some good post holiday sales going on so they got some really good buys. We had to stop at Radio Shack to get some nimh batteries for the digital camera but Jade pointed out that they were cheaper at Target. So we go to Target and get some batteries and other stuff. Then we went to Costco to get milk and eggs and ended up getting a bunch of other stuff not on our list. I was going to pick up a pack of paper towels too while we were there, then Jade again pointed out that the paper towels were on sale at Home Depot. So we go to Home Depot and while we were there we decided to get duplicate house keys made... and so on and on. It seemed like we would go to one place and find a reason to go to another and another place. Before you know it, the day was over and we had walked at least five miles and spent money we didn't need to :(
