As the 2008 Presidential Candidates are scrutinized, a series by the New York times captured my attention recently, particularly the section on a mother's influence. Reading about the candidates' families isn't going to influence the way I vote but I found it throughly interesting read.
The one I posted about on Amoores.com is about Barack Obama's mother who isn't talked about as much on the media as his father. It turns out she is a very interesting person. It is just too bad that she didn't get to see him run for the presidency. She would be really proud.
