Old News and New News

One thing about coming home, besides enjoying time with family, is that you also catch up on news about family and friends. It is also fun hearing about old friends that you hadn't though about in a long time, but it is sad to hear about the ones who hadn't fared as well. I heard an old friend has not been doing so well. He drank some when I knew him years ago, but I suppose the habit has gotten worst over the years. I heard he's had to go into alcohol rehab but even that hasn't help with his personal life. He got divorced and is now having multiple health problems and, I heard, just not doing well at all in all aspects of his life. It was just sad to hear.
