Continuing on with my current obsession with expenses, I am also reminded of the little extras we have to spend on for the girls' education. With two girls in band, one playing the flute the other bass clarinet, there are always extra expenses like costumes, instruments, music and what have you. The big expense though is the music lessons during the off season since they are on a quarterly schedule and don't have music class all year long like we used to. So we pay for additional lessons to keep their skills up. There are a number of private tutors and music centers to get additional tutoring. One such place is Amadeus Home Music School. They have a network of music tutors nationwide who will teach at your convenience in your home. With summer coming up fast, yep, music lessons are too.
