We just returned from a family reunion and again, after some trepidation about attending the event, we came back happy that we decided to go. It was nice to see the family again, some of them we hadn't seen since the reunion last year. Plus, the food was great. I brought, as our contribution, a zucchini chocolate cake and a cucumber and tomato salad. They had something for everyone and I think everyone went away happy. They even had popcorn machines for the kids. They had a great time with that.
We came home later than we planned, but that was ok. We had a great time too, but now we're both tired. Just watching the swimming competition on the Olympic games now. Whew!
