
If you'd like to learn how to make your own homemade tocino without all the preservatives, go on over there and try it out. Traditionally, tocino is served for breakfast with garlic fried rice and eggs, but there is no rule against having it for dinner. My husband can eat tocino anytime of day be it the Filipino way with rice or with potatoes, it doesn't matter to him.

thanks for the tocino tip, my husband and kids love it but i normally use only the powdered marinade.

Do you know how many times I've bought pork chops planning to make tocino out of it? It's been weeks since I saw this recipe on Dexie's site. I have to have to do this!!!
